The Role

As an Associate Lawyer in our Capital Markets department, you will be working on a wide variety of transactions, including:

• Initial public offerings
• Secondary offerings
• Private placements
• Public M&A
• M&A transactions involving regulated entities
• Financial regulation aspects of M&A transactions.

You will be expected to conduct thorough legal analysis, draft transaction documents and legal memoranda, assist in license application files, and advise clients on a variety of regulatory questions, all while considering the commercial needs of our clients.

The Successful Candidate Must Have

• Qualification as Greek lawyer (Greek law degree and bar admission)
• Strong interest in capital markets and financial regulation
• Post-graduate studies in financial law, securities law or financial regulation
• At least 1 year of experience in capital markets (and financial regulation), preferably in a top-tier Greek or leading international firm
• Excellent command of English (knowledge of a second foreign language is an advantage)
• A strong client service orientation and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to respond to cross-border legal frameworks
• Strong technical, drafting, and commercial skills
• A commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team-work spirit

Interview Process
