We are looking for an Experienced Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of experience in Banking & Finance, who will work on a broad range of projects, from corporate, structured and project finance, to ECM/DCM and complex regulatory matters.

The Role

As an Experienced Associate in our Banking & Finance department, you will become a member of our team, led by Nikos Koritsas and co-managed by Dr. Ioannis Kaptanis and Effie Papoutsi. You will be involved in:

  • Corporate finance
  • LBOs
  • Structured finance
  • Derivatives
  • Project finance
  • ECM/DCM
  • Financial services regulation
  • Debt restructuring

You will be expected to perform thorough legal analyses, draft legal memoranda, assist in license application files, and advise clients on a variety of regulatory questions, all while considering the commercial needs of our clients.

 Skills & Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Banking & Finance, preferably in a top-tier Greek or leading international firm
  • Qualified lawyer with relevant legal qualifications
  • Strong team player, proactive and able to demonstrate initiative
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and commercial skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and research skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high work standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Law
  • Postgraduate degree (LL.M. or equivalent) in Finance Law
  • Admission to the Greek Bar
  • Excellent command of the English language (knowledge of a second foreign language is an advantage)
  • Exceptional computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
