WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are currently looking for a Senior Associate to join our dynamic M&A legal practice in Athens.

You will be part of a high performing team advising a diverse client base on domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, commercial agreements, and day-to-day corporate law matters. Our clients include purchasers, sellers, targets, financial advisors, investors, and other key stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in client work, team leadership, and the strategic growth of the practice. You will work with autonomy while mentoring junior colleagues and managing complex mandates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• leading and supervising legal due diligence processes,
• drafting, reviewing and negotiating sophisticated transaction documentation,
• advising on deal structuring, legal risks, and strategic mitigation, handling regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters,
• coordinating multidisciplinary legal workstreams in complex transactions,
• cultivating and strengthening client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor,
• monitoring legal and regulatory developments and translating them into actionable insights,
•  contributing to knowledge-sharing and innovation within the team.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a highly skilled lawyer with a strong background in M&A and corporate law, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

You should have:

• qualification as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece (Athens Bar Association or other),
• a postgraduate degree (LL.M. or equivalent) from a well-accredited law university in Greece or abroad, ideally focused on M&A / Corporate & Commercial Law,
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in leading Greek firms or in-house legal teams, with active involvement in structuring and executing complex transactions,
• strong leadership and project management skills,
• strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice,
• excellent command of English (spoken and written),
• computer literacy and familiarity with legal tech tools.
