This transaction marks a significant step in Alpha Bank’s strategy to enhance its investment banking and capital markets capabilities, creating a leading integrated platform across Greece and Cyprus through the combination of Alpha Finance, Alpha Bank’s Investment Banking division, and AXIA.

We advised Alpha Bank throughout all stages of the transaction — from the initial structuring and due diligence to the negotiation and signing of the binding share purchase agreements. Completion of the transaction is expected by the end of 2025 and is subject to regulatory approvals and satisfaction of customary conditions.
