| This transaction was successfully completed in January 2019 and led to the extension until June 11th 2046 of the term of the Airport Development Agreement (ADA) relating to the management and operation of the Athens International Airport (AIA) against a consideration of €1.115bn plus VAT. KLF advised in relation to project finance as well as in relation to concession and corporate matters as regards the extension of the term of the ADA. It is noted that a separate team of our Firm advised AviAlliance GmbH (main private shareholder in AIA) in relation to the extension of the duration of the ADA, as well as the impending further privatization of the Athens International Airport. |
