If these are the questions law students are asking, we can’t wait to see what they’ll do as lawyers.
Three days at the ELSA Athens Job Fair — and the real highlight wasn’t our presentations. It was the conversations that followed.
What stood out? The questions. Not “Where should I do my internship?”, but “What kind of lawyer do I want to become?”. That shift makes all the difference.
A few that stayed with us:
• “What skills beyond legal knowledge matter today?”
• “How do you balance specialization with versatility?”
• “How is technology — including AI — reshaping daily legal work?”
That level of preparation and curiosity deserves real credit.
We showed up with colleagues from across the firm — Partners, Senior Associates, Associates — because you get a true sense of a firm when you can speak to people at every stage. And we all left with the same impression: the next generation is coming in strong.
Thank you to ELSA Athens and ELSA Greece for an exceptionally organized event. And to everyone we met: keep asking the right questions. Our profession needs that.
