Despoina mainly focuses on public procurement & concession projects and domestic civil dispute resolution. Her main involvement includes advising clients in their participation in public tenders and awarding authorities on the launching of public tenders, as well as the interpretation, drafting and negotiation of contracts. She also advises multinational corporates on matters related to civil, corporate and civil procedure law.

Despoina has valuable experience with public tenders, concession agreements and public – private partnerships. She has also participated in numerous due diligence exercises conducted by our firm.

  • Advising the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation of the Ministry of Development and Investments in relation to the currently ongoing tender process for the project of the “Politeia Innovation Centre” through Public-Private Partnership (PPP);
  • Advising an international bidder on all aspects of the tender for the award of the concession agreement in relation to financing, operation, maintenance and exploitation of Attica Motorway;
  • Advising an international Bidder on all aspects of the tender for the award of the Irrigation Project “Modernization of irrigation networks Tavropos” through PPP;
  • Advising Aktor Concessions SA on all aspects of the tender for the project “Construction, Financing, Operation and Maintenance of the Southwest Road Axis of Peloponnese Kalamata Rizomilos Pilos Methoni section” through PPP;
  • Advising HRADF, with respect to the ongoing tender procedure for the concession of the Marina in Lefkimmi (Corfu);
  • Advising HRADF on the lease of Larymna and Loutsi mines owned by the Hellenic Republic;

  • Advising Tileoptika Ktiria S.A., a subsidiary of Antenna Group, in relation to construction contracts pertaining to a multistorey building hosting offices and studios for the production of television and radio programs;
  • Advising United Group B.V. in its acquisition of WIND Hellas, one of Greece’s three mobile operators with a total of 4.2 million users and revenues in excess of EUR 500 million annually;
  • Advising PQH, the single special liquidator for credit and financial institutions under special liquidation in Greece, on the legal due diligence of its NPL portfolio;
  • Advising Cohn Robbins Holdings Corp. (NYSE: CRHC) in connection with the public listing on the NYSE of Allwyn Entertainment (the group-wide brand of SAZKA Entertainment AG) with a total enterprise value of approximately $9.3 billion;
  • Advising two multinational pharmaceutical companies on the Greek and EU law aspects in the context of several ongoing domestic and international litigations/investigations;
