Koutalidis Law Firm advised Alpha Bank S.A. on the establishment of its new Green Bond Framework, marking a significant step in the Bank’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible finance.
The Green Bond Framework has been developed in alignment with the Green Bond Principles of the ICMA – International Capital Market Association and integrates, where applicable, criteria from the EU Taxonomy, ensuring a high standard of transparency and accountability in green financing.
Through this Framework, Alpha Bank strengthens its commitment to supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy, with proceeds expected to fund projects in key environmental areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean transportation, and green buildings.
